Paul Winter, Head of Expressive Arts Faculty, Milton Keynes

‘’I just wanted to send a quick email to say how good the sessions we had on Tuesday were. We managed to get our entire year group of 288 students through the revision training in two sessions. Sander was as usual - enthusiastic and confident. His clear delivery and excellent engagement of the pupils made a big impact on the pupils in Year 10.

Several teachers were very impressed and have taken on some of his ideas. Sander was set up in plenty of time and he was flexible over the timings (as he needed to be; as I changed things a bit on the Monday to take account of rooming issues). Mr Roach, our Deputy Head and Mrs Pope, our Year Leader were also very pleased with the exam preparation and training the pupils received.

I would say that the pupils really enjoyed the sessions and gained a good deal of information. I spoke to about five or six of the Year 10 pupils later in the day and they were pleased with it.  The sessions, I think, will have inspired lots of the pupils to start to revise for the Year 10 exams which start just after half term.   I look forward to working with you again in future. I will be discussing with our Head, Mr Manley the possibility of doing the session next year as it was very good.

Please pass on my thanks to Sander for his time and energy.’’
