Post-event Support

The relationship with each of our clients does not end at the close of the training workshop. MADE offers our clients follow-up sessions, materials and resources to ensure that the impact of our live delivery is sustained.

Staff support

30 minute overview session – MADE offers all institutions an opportunity for their staff to experience what the students have learnt in their sessions. Our 30 minute sessions give your staff members an overview of the key techniques delivered that day, and allow them to reflect on how these techniques might be used in the classroom.

60 minute twilight training – Our twilight training gives your team an introduction to the key techniques delivered to your students that day, followed by an opportunity to practise those techniques and discuss how they might be applied within specific subject areas. This training gives your staff the confidence to add what they have learnt to their range of teaching strategies. We are happy to tailor this session to meet your needs. Please call the office to discuss any specific requirements that you may have for this session, for example; focusing on a specific approach or technique.

Teacher support packs

The MADE support packs allow you to revisit the information and techniques delivered within the live workshops. This information is structured in a variety of formats, allowing your staff to embed the content in a number of ways. Our packs include:

  • Refresher presentation (can be delivered as an assembly or within form/tutor time)
  • Teacher notes: Classroom application ideas
  • Discussion questions to promote reflection and the sharing of best practise
  • Reading list and web links for further research and investigation

Spaced learning

Refresher sessions – MADE recommends revisiting the content from the workshops at key times throughout the academic year. We can run refresher courses for you to remind your students of the techniques which can help them to succeed and to encourage them to commit to a structured process of studying, revision and reflection.
