Nicci was very warm, welcoming and enthusiastic about the content she delivered

Nicci was very warm, welcoming and enthusiastic about the content she delivered during the MADE training for some of our Year 9 and 10 students on working through and setting their Goals and Aspirations. She welcomed questions and had prizes for everyone that volunteered answers which kept students engaged throughout. It was a pleasure to see her speak to our students as she had examples from her life and others to show students the end results of putting what she was teaching them into practice. I've since passed on some of the booklets to my colleagues as I genuinely believe the content is very suitable for everyone including teachers! And I hope to use them myself as soon as possible. -

James pushed them during the session to overcome barriers to achieve their very best

Wow! The sessions run on Friday by James were fantastic and the feedback from students and staff has been so positive. Having spoken to a few students, they said that they felt really positive about their future, to follow their dreams and not to give up. They said James pushed them during the session to overcome barriers to achieve their very best. The teachers that were fortunate to be in the sessions spoke very highly of James. We are so pleased that James enjoyed inspiring our students and the fact that he spoke so highly of our students and school has meant a lot to us all. Please pass on my thanks to James, and we look forward to welcoming him back again in due course.

The teachers with the group really enjoyed it and were furiously taking notes!

Joe delivered an excellent session - everyone enjoyed it and found it useful. The teachers with the group really enjoyed it and were furiously taking notes! It was a hard to engage group of lads and Joe was brilliant at keeping them focused on the session. The revision techniques he delivered were excellent and were aimed at the right level for the group. What Joe managed to get the group taking part in throughout the session was truly amazing and inspiring. The motivational aspect was great and very much needed for the group - something that we weren't quite aware of when we booked you but I feel that the questions that Joe was asking the group really got through to some of them. Please pass on our thanks to Joe - it was a difficult, though lovely, group to work with and he did amazingly. Looking forward to working with you again in the future.

I honestly have to say this is the best one I’ve ever been involved with

Rob the trainer was incredible, he had the students eating out of his hand even before the session started. Bearing in mind this group had been in one room all week and beginning to lose the will. Rob’s mannerism and enthusiasm was so infectious and within minutes you could feel the atmosphere in the room change, and the students began to become engaged. The sessions were paced really well, and kept everyone focussed including two naughty staff (hehe) it was interactive, thought provoking and really inspirational, the students interacted not only with Rob, but were engaging and encouraging other students. I have worked in schools for a long time, and seen many outside agencies come into school to deliver their workshops. I honestly have to say this is the best one I’ve ever been involved with. I will certainly recommend this to my other colleagues (or maybe not and just keep the courses for my year group) ! Please pass onto Rob my sincere thanks and gratitude for really lifting me today I have left the workshop feeling energised and motivated, ready to face the next week. Thanks again

It was wonderful to see so many engaged and inspired

I just wanted to express my sincere thanks for the wonderful experience the pupils at EPCHS had. It was wonderful to see so many engaged and inspired by the techniques. Joe was fantastic and had a great way with the students who at times can be quite passive... I look forward to working with the company again.

The workshop was delivered brilliantly

The workshop was delivered brilliantly by Sander, he had students (and staff) fully engaged and everyone walked away from the event in a positive mood having learned something new to help them in their studies (or their work). The feedback has been so very positive and we are all looking forward to the next one on the 20th June.

Peer tutoring – challenging students to reflect on tutoring holistically

I thought Sander was great, very engaging and good at getting the students involved. I was particularly impressed by the peer tutoring session which challenged the students to reflect on tutoring holistically. Thinking about the multiple dimensions of being a peer tutor including body language, matching and tone, as well as the practical skills required. These psychosocial dimensions of being a peer tutor will also be useful outside of the boundaries of education.

Lots of thanks and praise as parents were leaving

Last night was very well thought of [by parents and teachers]. Lots of thanks and praise as parents were leaving and I received the following comment from a parent via e-mail this morning: "It was really helpful and informative. I learnt a lot about how to help and support my child." Personally, I wish I had experienced this 40 years ago when taking my O Levels. I can now see why "last minute cramming" on the school bus was not an effective revision technique, though I was convinced of it's power at the time!

It’s been the topic of conversation today!!

A fabulous day! The students and staff found it very informative; it’s been the topic of conversation today!! The students certainly had an opportunity to reflect on their current practices and learn lots of new strategies to hopefully help them get their GCSE results. Thanks to Joe (and his very impressive memory number rhyme!)

I would not hesitate to book MADE again

Today has been great, thank you so much for all your help with the planning side of it and to Danny and Joe for their hard work. The students really enjoyed the sessions and it was great hearing the conversations that were coming out of today. Teachers are now keen to book sessions for parents and I am so pleased to hear that Haygrove have booked you for their Y11s revision. Students left the day feeling motivated and keen to achieve their full potential. It was lovely to hear the conversations coming out of the activities and to see the students looking so proud of their lighthouses. The trainers were full of energy and left a lasting impression on the young people. I would not hesitate to book MADE again and we are now looking into KS5 sessions and parent sessions. Thanks so much again,
