University Ambassador Training

    university ambassador

MADE has worked with a number of UK universities, helping to raise the effectiveness of their outreach projects and student recruitment departments. On a number of occasions, MADE has been asked to focus specifically on the communication and mentoring skills of their ambassadors. We have worked with:

    • Newcastle University
    • Bucks New University
    • Reading University
    • South Bank University

This type of training is designed to develop the confidence of student university ambassadors in working with young people and to enable them to represent their university in the best possible light. Each student university ambassador will be introduced to models of mentoring, facilitation, coaching and a range of behaviour management techniques. These programmes will broaden each ambassador’s range of communication styles and allow them to facilitate sessions with confidence.

“Really thought-provoking. Some techniques that I use myself and some great new ones. Has given me ideas for breaking up my own student sessions. These techniques will help with problem resolution. Had a great time and really enjoyed the sessions, MADE got the balance just right.”
