Impact Brief
From day one, we have been committed to internally assess every interaction we’ve had with students, and still today, we remain overwhelmed by the fantastic feedback we receive both on the quality of our trainers and our content. Analysing this data and feedback has allowed us to regularly reflect on our work and make the adjustments and additions to widen our scope, increase our impact and maintain our relevance.

Feedback
Feedback is taken from every participant in every live MADE workshop. The feedback from each workshop is collated into a feedback report showing both qualitative and quantitative data. Our clients will receive their reports within five days of the delivery of the workshops.
The quantitative data we capture from all of our workshops gets incorporated into accumulated databases which allow us to interpret and analyse long-term trends and maintain high standards for our delivery team. We use the qualitative data to identify improvements and changes that can be made to our content, resources and pedagogical approaches.
Feedback Statistics
We love the work we do and we're great at it too. The feedback we receive from students, teachers and parents confirms this. This data has been compiled from over 250,000 students, teachers and parents.
Independent Evaluation
Since 2017, our live delivery has also been externally evaluated by professional independent bodies as part of the Office for Students Uni Connect programme. This impartial evaluation has shone a light on other areas of our impact and we’re incredibly proud of the findings.
The process evaluation data below was obtained from 4101 post-workshop surveys collected from 3869 students across Cornwall, Devon and Somerset in 2019. Workshops included study and revision skills development (with additional workshops for teachers and parents and carers), and workshops guiding students through planning their future career paths and clarifying how they will achieve their goals and aspirations.

Thank you MADE!
“We had three trainers from MADE working with year 11, 12 and 13 over two days this week. It was the first or second day back for most students and a few were new to St Wilfrid’s sixth form. The sixth form students really seemed to enjoy the creativity tests and the games used to start off the session which woke them up and got them ready for some more serious work. The ‘Active Reading’ methods will be very useful for their upcoming revision and assignments; one of the teachers in Joe’s session commented ‘I wish I had been taught this in sixth form’. Both trainers were really enthusiastic and connected well with the students. A staff member who was observing James’s session commented on how well he engaged his audience and maintained their interest. On the second day the trainers Danny and James worked with year 11 students on ‘Goals and Aspirations’. I think this was a really good session to start students off at the beginning of their GCSE year as it really made them think about what they want to achieve and how they might do it in a realistic way. The students seemed to find the section about ‘visualisation’ really interesting. I was in Danny’s sessions most of the day and it was really good that he went round the groups and spoke to students individually about their own goals and interests. We hope to build on the work done in these sessions over the next academic year. Thank you MADE!" Lucy Holehan, NCOP Higher Education Progression Officer. Go Higher West Yorkshire

Midhurst Rother College – Case Study
Case study – Midhurst Rother College Courses – KS3, KS4, KS5, Teachers, Support Staff Year groups – 10, 11, 12, 13, staff MADE has worked with MRC Academy consistently over the last four years. Claire Dickens, Progress Manager for Year 11, has brought MADE in regularly to help her students remain focused and on task. We look forward to many more years of working together. "I can’t say thank you enough for yesterday’s presentation from Sander on ‘Exams made Easy’. Sander was a character and got more from the students than we ever manage to! His character brought to life the simple techniques that he presented in a really engaging style. I found it amazing how we all learnt 10 elements of the Periodic Table without even realising it… very, very clever… and a simple amount of imagination made it so interesting! The students were blown away with how easy Sander made the revision seem, they have definitely got some new skills, and by lunchtime I had other staff coming to me to say how wonderful the students found it as they were in lessons discussing it all already! From our staff who were helping to supervise, an English teacher within 10 minutes had decided on a new way to do our ‘Exam Blaster’ sessions – simply taking the idea from Sander about ‘hanging’ information around the room and using visual cues to recall these. I know, as staff in our small training session at the end we created some great ‘journeys’ as we practised the technique….even we learnt 10 USA presidents and their states – something I never imagined possible in such a short space of time, but we did it! The most important visitor was our Principal. He came down to the second session as he had heard news of the morning’s work. He spent
