Finding the right people

Much like in schools, our people are our greatest asset. We say it often and with good reason. It is through the determination and dedication of our people that we can serve our clients and deliver value within the education sector.

People management is about two things: Finding the right people for the right positions and getting the best from your team. To refine the second part of this process, we have stepped up our training and induction programme. New trainers coming on board with MADE go through a comprehensive induction programme, with films, manuals and live training through co-delivery. You can be sure that any trainer working with MADE has gone through a rigorous qualifying and training procedure. Finding these people however, is really difficult.

So what does it take to be a MADE Trainer? The work we do is demanding, intellectual and dynamic; just like teaching. We also look for one additional quality alongside the others and that is to be highly engaging. Our trainers need to be able to hold the interest of 100+ teenagers for two hours. This is no mean feat and it requires high confidence and adaptability. This makes our recruitment really tough. In fact, from our last recruitment drive, we hired one new trainer from a field of 200+ applicants.

With this in mind, we are delighted to introduce to you: Danny Ward.

Passionate about education and learning, Danny has degrees in both English and Drama and an MA in Film Production. He has worked in several industries and has a good awareness of the skills required by students to make a successful transition from education into the workplace. Alongside his wealth of knowledge and experience, Danny brings to MADE a highly professional manner and boundless enthusiasm. We know heโ€™s a great trainer and we are sure you will think so too.

We are always looking for great new trainers. If you or anyone you know are interested in joining us and delivering exciting workshops in schools across the UK, then please get in touch at: info@made-training.com.
