Why and How?
Throughout the summer we have received many enquiries from Teachers and Lecturers who have heard about our student workshops, but had not yet had the opportunity to investigate further. The question that arises regularly is:
‘’What is it that you do differently that has such an impact on our students?’’
We felt it would be a good idea to offer a simple explanation of why so many academic establishments use our workshops and services throughout the year, complimenting the work done by the establishment itself.
Schools, Colleges and Academies do an incredible job of teaching students specific subjects throughout the year and covering a huge amount of information. In many cases however, students are not equipped with the tools, skills and mindsets that could raise their confidence, independence and ultimately, results.
Our range of student workshops and resources have been specifically designed and built around a core ethos of ‘Why?’ and ‘How?’
Why should I commit to my studies? We specialise in helping students to take responsibility for their own learning and success. We challenge students to commit to take risks, commit to action and make the right decisions.
How should I study? We introduce students to active learning tools which can be immediately adopted and used in lessons and home study. These techniques, coupled with a positive mindset, will help the students to work in a more efficient and effective manner.
The impact of both elements results in students leaving our sessions empowered and enthusiastic about their education and futures. As our statistics, feedback and countless testimonials show – academic establishments value our support and contribution to whole school improvement. From schools and colleges in special measures to high-achieving independent and state schools, our workshops are designed to impact all students regardless of ability.
We empower delegates with the skills and mindsets to know how to succeed and we show them why, if they adopt the appropriate skills and attitudes, they can go on to achieve great things in their lives.
